Personalized nutrition solutions for your child

Do you feel like there’s something deeper going on with your child causing their symptoms, but you’re told there’s nothing else you can do except give prescriptions?

Or maybe you’ve had a few tests done but everything comes back “normal” and you’re tired of not getting answers?

I’ve been there too!

As a mom of 3 young children, I’ve experienced challenges with my own children:

Eczema

Asthma

Sleep issues

ADHD

Using my 12 years of experience as a registered dietitian, with extensive training in integrative and functional nutrition, we’ve been able to significantly improve diagnoses and symptoms in my own children through functional lab testing, gut healing, and replenishing deficiencies.

I want to help you, too!

Symptoms like extreme emotional dysregulation, eczema, constipation, sleep disruptions, etc., are a cry for help from our children, and a sign that there is something deeper going on.

The symptoms are what we see, but the causes we typically don’t see: gut dysbiosis, nutrient deficiencies, maldigestion, parasites, overgrown pathogens, heavy metals, mold, toxin overload, etc.

Finding the reasons for your child’s WHY is what I do. I take the magnifying glass to your child’s symptoms, lifestyle and lab results to investigate those root causes and put together all the missing pieces of the puzzle to your child’s health. I guess you could call me Detective Lindsay?

FAQ

I see kids ages 2 and up.

I currently take Aetna, Cigna, BCBS and United Healthcare! I’m located in KCMO, so to be covered, you would most likely have to be located in Missouri or Kansas where I’m licensed and in-network.

Yes. Unfortunately, there are still restrictions on telehealth with licensing laws. Some states require I’m licensed in the state my client is physically located. Others do not. I’m licensed in MO and KS. Message me if you’re wondering if I can see you if you’re in another state!

I’m only going to take clients that I feel comfortable helping with the experience and knowledge that I have. This includes picky eating, eczema, digestive issues/constipation, ADHD, developmental delays, behavior challenges, poor immunity, overall nutrition and lifestyle recommendations for general health. If your child has a condition I’m NOT well-versed in like seizures, muscular dystrophy, feeding tubes, PANDAS, etc., I will try to help you find another practitioner who specializes in these areas from a functional perspective.

Food, lifestyle, and supplements can make a DRASTIC difference on ADHD! Constipation, parasites, toxins, nutrient deficiencies (especially iron), food dyes and inflammatory foods can all exacerbate ADHD. I help you identify root causes, treat those root causes, and optimize nutrition and lifestyle to give your child the health and happiness they (and you) deserve.

It depends on every child, but I definitely recommend several sessions to see the most impact. During the first session, we’ll develop our strategy plan for your child, as well as getting started on some diet changes. If you opt for testing, we will go over results and protocols in follow-up sessions. These changes take time to see results, so I would recommend at least 3 sessions, minimum.

For small children who can’t yet swallow capsules, I will find supplements that are chewable, liquid, powder, or flavorless capsules that you can open and add to food.

Sessions are conveniently virtual! I offer both daytime and evening (6:30 and 8:30 pm) appointments. I do have a coworking office in Lee’s Summit, MO that I can see people in-person, if desired.
